Module 1 – running effective meetings

The Sociocracy Center in Lithuania, in cooperation with the ElKeSo – Elleniko Kentro Sociocratias, both co-founder of the INoSC – International Network of Sociocracy Centers, are offering an English-speaking training program that enables participation on all continents. They follow the example of our German speaking Sociocracy Center’s training-curricula.

When?
Module 1: 4x 4 hours on February 24, March 3, 10 and  17, 2026

Time: 13:00 – 15:00 (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Eastern European Time)

Module 2 and module 3 will be determined with the participants later. 

The training programme of module 1:

  • The 4 basic principles of Sociocracy (and self-organizing):
    • First principle: Consent,
    • Second principle: Circle Structure,
    • Third principle: Double Linking,
    • Fourth principle: Open Elections
  • Focus on a common aim
  • Effective meeting design
  • Sociocratic facilitation skills
  • Facilitator intervention tools
  • Dynamic steering
  • Dealing with your own consent

Trainer: Eglė Daunienė, CSE i.E., Eglė is a sociocratic facilitator, a leadership co-trainer, and a co-author of the book “Beyond Ego Leadership”. With over 20 year experience in various roles she now facilitates meetings and group sessions, trains sociocracy facilitators and advices people on building partnerships. She is the secretary of INoSC – International Network of Sociocracy Centers who partner to offer this Module 1 training in English.

Co-trainer: Verena Fink, who for more than 25 years works with different groups as a trainer, an educator and an artist, is a sociocratic facilitator and a CSE (Certified Sociocracy Expert). She is implementing Sociocracy in Greece and is teaching Consent facilitation and the Circle Method for facilitators and consultants for the Greek Sociocracy Center ElKeSo as well as for the INoSC – International Network of Sociocracy Centers.
